Fake Christmas Krinkles Table

If you've ever visited a Christmas Shop, you've likely run into Patience Brewster's artistic ornaments and accessories called "Christmas Krinkles."  I have to admit that before times became tough for us financially, I spent a lot of money on Krinkles and I have quite a few in my stash.

Patience Brewster has lots of cute, small accessories in her collection, but here's what I really want:

Isn't that fun?  A special Christmas table with lots of holiday flair!  But hold the phone, 'cause the price tag on this little number is over $1000!  YIKES!  I don't know that I'd ever be able to justify that, no matter how well-off I might be.

This Christmas' budget does not include any Krinkles money, so I had to resort to Faking My Own!

I found this very sad table at a yard sale for $5.00.  Doing ANYTHING to this table would be an improvement!

After a little craft paint, modge podge, felt & jewels, that little table went from forlorn to festive!

It's not an exact replica, but it's definitely "inspired" by Krinkles and I think it will be a great addition to our home this Christmas and the many more to come!
